Put John
in the
spotlight
Every Australian has the right to play sport. That’s why Special Olympics Australia provides opportunities for people with intellectual disability/autism to be included.
But the cost-of-living crisis has seen a record number of people struggling to access our year-round sports training, competition and social activities.
Without your help, people like John* will sit on the sidelines.
John loves tenpin bowling, but struggles to find $10 a week to pay for transport to the lanes. So, every day – rain, hail or shine – John heads out to collect bottles and cans to raise money to bowl with his friends.
Can you help people like John have their time in the spotlight?
