Livin’ the Dream

Special Olympics has helped me realise my dream to represent Australia in basketball. It was such an honour to be selected to go to Berlin next year. 

I train twice a week with a basketball coach to help with my footwork, balance and agility, train with Special Olympics once a week and play matches twice a week.

I am looking forward to meeting my interstate team mates at the training camp in February next year before we go to Berlin in June. I have met so many friends since I joined Special Olympics in  2012 and hope to meet many more people from different countries at the World Games. This is a once in a lifetime experience for me.

I'm so proud to have been picked to wear the green and gold at the World Games in Berlin. 

To be part of an Australian team and go overseas will be a dream come true. But I need to raise $9,000 to get there. That’s a lot of money and I need your help!
