Hello, my name is Alex Cherny.
I am so proud to be representing Australia for my second time, at Special Olympics World Winter Games 2025 in Turin, along with 13 other Australians.
I have skied all my life. I love skiing, it is a wonderful community and I feel very happy when skiing, and have made many friends in the skiing community. I m very lucky to have skied often and many places in Australia and overseas. Often we travel to ski in ski fields that friends from Australia come from or live and work during our summer. My family and friends are so proud of my hard work, perseverance and achievements in everything I do, and skiing gives me confidence to try harder at everything in life. Thanks to many people who support me well to achieve my best potential.
I train all year to be fit, strong, healthy, improve my technique and have a good mindset to ski my best.
I will be brave in my attempt to do my best.
