I’m freezin’ for a reason!

TThis year, I’m taking the plunge - literally. I’m jumping into icy water as part of the Law Enforcement Torch Run’s Polar Plunge, raising funds for Special Olympics in Australia.

Special Olympics Australia provides year-round sports training and competition for people with intellectual disability and/or autism.

I started with Special Olympics since 1996 and throughout that time, I’ve made lots of friends and had some wonderful experiences. I’ve played a number of different sports have represented at State and National level.  My greatest experience was representing Australia in Athens for athletics where I achieved silver and bronze medals.

I have also run with the LETR and took part in the inaugural Global run in Australia in 2007, and even got to light the caldron in front of Government House in Sydney.

Yes, it will be cold … very cold. But it’ll be worth it!

If you can, please donate and help me reach my fundraising goal. Every dollar makes a difference.

Together, we’re freezin’ for a reason.
