This year, the SOA CEO’s Ice Breakers are taking the plunge - literally. Led by Special Olympics Australia CEO Jamie O’Connor, our team will be jumping into icy water at Barangaroo as part of the Law Enforcement Torch Run’s Commissioner’s Polar Plunge, raising funds for Special Olympics Australia.
Why? Because every person deserves the opportunity to experience the joy, confidence, connection and sense of belonging that sport can provide.
Special Olympics Australia delivers year-round sport, health and leadership programs for people with intellectual disability and/or autism. Through sport, athletes build skills, friendships, independence and self-belief - and the impact reaches far beyond the field of play.
