I’m freezin’ for a reason!
This year, I’m taking the plunge - literally. I’m jumping into icy water as part of the Law Enforcement Torch Run’s Polar Plunge, raising funds to participate in the 2026 Special Olympics National Games in Melbourne. I am so excited to have been selected for Team Victoria swimming, for the second time. After winning gold in 2022 I’m super keen to experience it all again. And of course support my local club, Ovens and Murray Special Olympics
Why? Because every Australian deserves the opportunity to experience the joy, confidence and connection that sport brings.
Special Olympics Australia provides year-round sports training and competition for people with intellectual disability and/or autism. Through sport, athletes build skills, friendships, independence and belief in themselves - and that impact extends far beyond the playing field.
