The day has arrived!

The big day was today where I took the icy plunge to honour all of my supporters generous donations. I have raised well above my goal thanks to you all. 
Today was so much fun taking part in the Law Enforcement Torch Relay and I got a chance to hold the torch as the whole team walked down to Gunnamatta. 
Now for the plunge. We all jumped off the pier. The water was FREEZIN’ it took my breath away for a moment, incentive to swim faster to the shore :-) 
After the swim though I was back in the water to have a celebratory swim. 
A HUGE thank you to all my supporters for your generous donations and words of encouragement.

Getting ready

Hi everyone, 
I’m getting ready for my polar plunge. I just got back from the shops buying a wetsuit to take the edge off my icy plunge on Sunday! Brrrrr :-)

State swimming carnival

In June 2025 I competed in the State swimming carnival in Armidale. It was a great weekend swimming with my Sydney South team mates and meeting new athletes from other clubs in NSW. I won a silver medal in the 50m freestyle and a bronze medal for backstroke and the 4 x 50m relay race. Not bad for my first state carnival ?????

Getting ready for the big day

I had a good day having a warm up session in the pool I will be swimming in today. After the warmup I had a couple of games if ten pin bowling with my team mates and got to meet some of the other athletes.
