Hi everyone,
This year, we will be taking the plunge jumping into icy water as part of the Law Enforcement Torch Run’s Polar Plunge, raising funds for Special Olympics in Australia.
We will be freezin’ for a reason.
Why?
Special Olympics Australia has provided us with opportunities from sport to athlete leadership and we are freezing to experience the joy, confidence and connection that sport brings us.
Special Olympics Australia provides year-round sports training and competition for people with intellectual disability and/or autism. Through sport, athletes build skills, friendships, independence and belief in themselves - and that impact extends far beyond the playing field.
