Special Olympics is very important to me.
It has given me special moments like this one with Eunice Kennedy Shriver who founded our movement in 1968.
The photo above is from 2003 when I competed at the Special Olympics World Games in Ireland. I won a gold medal with my team in the 4x200m freestyle relay.
Last year, I went to the World Games again – 20 years later! This time I competed in Berlin and I won a silver medal in the pool.
