This year, I’m taking the plunge again — literally.
I’ll be diving into the icy Indian Ocean at Hillarys Beach as part of the Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR) 2026 Polar Plunge, all to raise vital funds for Special Olympics Western Australia.
Why do it?
Because every Australian deserves the chance to experience the joy, confidence and belonging that sport brings.
Special Olympics Australia delivers year‑round sports training and competition for people with intellectual disability and/or autism. It’s about far more than medals or finish lines — it’s about belief, independence, friendships, and inclusion. For many athletes, sport is where they first discover what they’re capable of.
