Sammy’s taking the plunge

This year, I’m taking the plunge - literally. I’m jumping into icy waters of the Apex Park in Mildura on 25^th of July, as part of the Law Enforcement Torch Run’s Polar Plunge, raising funds for Special Olympics in Australia.

I have been selected to compete at the Special Olympics National Games in Melbourne from the 18^th to 23^rd of October.  I am representing Victoria in Golf.

Special Olympics Australia provides year-round sports training and competition for people with intellectual disability and/or autism. Through sport, athletes build skills, friendships, independence and belief in themselves - and that impact extends far beyond the playing field.
