I'm dipping my toes in the cold for a reason
last year wasn't enough cold for me so i am back for another go. I’m taking on the plunge headfirst and embracing icy water as part of the Law Enforcement Torch Run’s Polar Plunge, raising funds for Special Olympics in Australia. And also helping to make the world a more inclusive place for all.
Why? Because every Australian deserves the opportunity to experience the joy, confidence and connection that sport brings. And friendships that are made.
Special Olympics Australia provides year-round sports training and competition for people with intellectual disability and/or autism. Through sport, athletes build skills, friendships, independence and belief in themselves - and that impact extends far beyond the playing field.
