Help me get to National Games

Welcome to my fundraising page.

I am pleased to be part of WA Special Olympics state netball team and we are excited to be travelling to Melbourne later this year for the Australian Special Olympic National Games.

Special Olympics was created to challenge injustice, exclusion and neglect, and to build a more inclusive world through sport. By focusing on what people can do rather than their limitations Special Olympics fosters inclusion, joy, confidence and improved health, while showcasing the abilities, achievements and potential of athletes with an intellectual disability and/or autism.

Special Olympics Australia provides year-round sports training and competition for people like me. But it is more than just sport, we build skills, friendships and independence and above all, have fun.

To be selected in the state netball team I had to play qualifying events with my No Limits netball team and participate in the 2025 WA Special Olympics State Games. State games are held annually, but the national and world games are only held every four years.

This is the first time that WA has sent a netball team to the National Games and everyone is looking forward to representing the state. We have been training as a team since February and will attend a two day camp with other Special Olympics athletes representing WA in mid-June to improve our team-building skills.

I am unable to participate in the Polar Plunge as we will be travelling at that time, but my team mates will be there freezin’ for a reason.

If you can, please donate and help me reach my fundraising goal to help get me to Melbourne. Every dollar makes a difference.
