Polar Plunge

Today I met some really lovely people after signing in for the Polar Plunge. First, we took part in the Torch Run and walked around Hillarys Boat Harbour. Then we listened to some important speakers before everyone had a little dance. After that, it was time to brave the cold water!
My team went into the water, and it was so much fun. I really enjoyed myself, and I was proud to receive a medal for participating and a T-shirt. It was an amazing day and a great experience!

I am raising funds for netball special olympics games in Melbourne in October for the national competition. I am very excited to go to play and to make new friends. I enjoy working in a team and work hard to play the game.
I plan to make the fundraising successful by asking my friends and support workers to help make this trip possible. Thankyou for your support.
