Heading to the action? During the National Games, Uber is offering 50% off eligible trips, up to $15 per trip, when your pickup or drop-off is at a participating Games venue. The offer is available to anyone travelling to or from participating venues, including the Opening Ceremony at Margaret Court Arena, the Games Hub at Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre (MSAC), and participating competition venues during the event dates and times. More ways to make your ride work for you

Everyone should have the freedom to move on their own terms. Uber offers features and ride options that can help riders personalise their journey and request additional support where they need it. 

Mobility devices 
For riders who may need additional assistance getting in and out of the vehicle. Eligible drivers complete disability awareness education, and Assist vehicles can accommodate folding wheelchairs, walkers and collapsible scooters. 

Assistance animals
Drivers using the Uber platform are required by law to transport riders travelling with assistance animals. 

Accessibility features in the Uber app
Uber continues to build accessibility features designed to give riders more choice and control over their experience, including support for riders who are blind or have low vision, deaf or hard of hearing and other accessibility-focused rider preferences. 

In your Uber App, go to: Account -> Settings -> Accessibility

Prefer to book by phone?
Call 13-UBER (13 82 37) to request an on-demand ride or pre-book a trip without using the Uber app.

Use your MPTP subsidy with Uber

If you are a Victorian Multi Purpose Taxi Program (MPTP) member, you can link your MPTP membership to your Uber account. Once linked and verified, your 50% MPTP subsidy is automatically applied to eligible Uber trips in Victoria, up to the program limit per trip and subject to your available subsidy balance. 

Look for Uber at the MSAC Games Hub

Visiting the Games Hub at MSAC? Look for the Uber wayfinding and the Uber pickup and drop-off area to help make meeting your ride easier. Uber team members will also be on site during game hours to help attendees with ride-booking and general Uber questions.
