Why am I plunging?

I manage the golf team for Sydney South. Of our 180+ athletes, 18 of them come to golf with me on a Saturday morning. 
Special Olympics supports athletes with an intellectual disability achieve their best through sport. But our Sydney South club is more than that. We’re a social community, we’re an outreach for parents, we’re a support system for navigating the cards you are dealt in life and most importantly we are a family of families that have each other’s back. 
Your support through donations keeps our club going, keeps our coaches coaching and our athletes achieving. 
If you can’t donate yourself sign up, jump with us on the day, tell anyone you meet about our amazing athletes.

I’m freezin’ for a reason!

This year, I’m taking the plunge - literally. I’m jumping into icy water as part of the Law Enforcement Torch Run’s Polar Plunge, raising funds for Special Olympics in Australia.

Why? Because every Australian deserves the opportunity to experience the joy, confidence and connection that sport brings.

Special Olympics Australia provides year-round sports training and competition for people with intellectual disability and/or autism. Through sport, athletes build skills, friendships, independence and belief in themselves - and that impact extends far beyond the playing field.

By supporting my Polar Plunge, you’re helping:
