Why am I a Special Olympics Coach

I’m an amputee golfer who has been involved in disabled golf for over 40 years. For 16 years I’ve been coaching the athletes at Sydney South. I know how sport can change lives and how inclusive sport can be with a little effort.
My athletes are inspirational, talented, hardworking and I’m happy to support them through this event.

I’m freezin’ for a reason!

This year, I’m taking the plunge - literally. I’m jumping into icy water as part of the Law Enforcement Torch Run’s Polar Plunge, raising funds for Special Olympics in Australia.

Why? Because every Australian deserves the opportunity to experience the joy, confidence and connection that sport brings.

Special Olympics Australia provides year-round sports training and competition for people with intellectual disability and/or autism. Through sport, athletes build skills, friendships, independence and belief in themselves - and that impact extends far beyond the playing field.

By supporting my Polar Plunge, you’re helping:
